Adam Sandler is back on stage, and this time he’s bringing his hilarious new stand-up tour, Adam Sandler: You’re My Best Friend, to downtown Tampa. The event takes place at Benchmark International Arena, 401 Channelside Dr., on Saturday, Sept. 6. Promoted by Live Nation, this show marks Sandler’s highly anticipated return after two sold-out tours in 2022 and 2023.
Fans have even more reason to be excited: the comedy legend is riding high after the Netflix premiere of Happy Gilmore 2, and his critically acclaimed role in Noah Baumbach’s Jay Kelly. The latter received a 10-minute ovation at the Venice Film Festival, with GQ declaring it “should win Adam Sandler the Oscar he deserves.” Clearly, this is a milestone year for “The Sandman.”
