Children’s Gasparilla kicks off Tampa’s most iconic pirate season with a high-energy, family-first celebration packed with parades, air shows, and unforgettable waterfront fun. Ahoy, lil’ mateys! This Saturday, January 24, from 12:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Tampa Bay transforms into a swashbuckling playground as pirates of all ages gather for a spectacular, alcohol-free festival designed especially for families.
At the heart of Children’s Gasparilla is a dazzling 1.5-mile parade featuring 125 floats, colorful krewes, and plenty of treasure for kids to collect along the way. The action unfolds along Bayshore Boulevard, starting at Bay to Bay Boulevard and marching north to Edison Avenue, turning the waterfront into a sea of costumes, music, and pirate pride.
