Tampa Theatre (711 N Franklin St.) is bringing magic to its iconic WineFest fundraiser this March with a new enchanting theme: “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Wine.” Presented by SouthEast Personnel Leasing, this two-day event on March 7 and 8 celebrates the perfect pairing of fine wine and cinema magic.
Over Two Decades of Themed Excellence
For over 20 years, WineFest has dazzled guests with imaginative themes like The Vineyard of Oz and Grapebusters. This year, the historic Tampa Theatre honors the wizarding world with an enchanting Hogwarts-inspired tribute, perfectly suited to its beautiful and storied setting.
March 7: Wine Tastings and Silent Auction
The festivities begin Friday evening with a two-tiered Wine Tasting event:
- Premium Tasting (7:00 p.m.): Enjoy exclusive wines and an intimate atmosphere. Tickets are $130 ($120 for members).
- Grand Tasting (8:00 p.m.): Sample boutique wines and savor bites from top local restaurants. Tickets are $80 ($70 for members).
Guests will also have the opportunity to bid on unique silent auction items, including experiences, dining, and treasures from local retailers.
March 8: Wine Pairing Dinner in the Great Hall
On Saturday, the theatre transforms into the Great Hall for an elegant Wine Pairing Dinner. Presented by Quality Carriers Inc., the event features a multi-course meal of small plates paired with exquisite wines, serving over 220 guests.
A live auction will feature luxury experiences, trips, and an exciting Wine Pull. Tickets are $500, and availability is limited!
Supporting Tampa Theatre’s Legacy
WineFest plays a vital role in raising funds for Tampa Theatre’s artistic and educational programs, as well as preservation efforts ahead of its 2026 centennial. Over the past 21 years, nearly $2 million has been raised for the nonprofit.
Event Chair Lauren Ferrell quips, “Wouldn’t it be nice if we could just wave a wand and magically restore Tampa Theatre? But it takes a lot of hard work—and a little bit of magic—to make it all happen.”
