Florida’s minimum wage is scheduled to rise this month

Florida’s minimum wage will reach $12 per hour on September 30, marking a step towards the state’s eventual $15 minimum wage.

In 2020, voters approved a constitutional amendment for this wage increase, which was championed by prominent Orlando attorney John Morgan.
