Nah Dogs Finds Permanent Home in St. Pete This Summer

Nah Dogs opening brick-and-mortar in downtown St. Pete is the kind of local food news that feels overdue in the best possible way. After years of building a loyal following through outdoor markets, late-night events, and festival appearances, Nah Dogs, St. Pete, and vegan hot dogs are about to become even more connected. The longtime pop-up from Jenny and Jeff Howe is preparing to trade its cart setup for a full storefront this summer at 18 22nd St. S. in the Grand Central District, right beside neighborhood favorites Black Crow Coffee Co. and Tombolo Books.

What began in 2019 as a simple hot dog cart has grown into one of the city’s most recognizable plant-based concepts. Over the years, Nah Dogs, popup, and Grand Central District have become part of the same story, with the Howes steadily building a reputation for creative comfort food that feels both playful and proudly local. Their upcoming brick-and-mortar marks a major step, not just for the business itself, but for the St. Pete dining scene that has embraced the brand from the start.
