During the previous summer, Dave’s Hot Chicken made its Tampa debut near the University of South Florida. Now, the beloved West Coast poultry chain is set to expand its presence in the area.
The second Tampa location Grand Opening was Friday, Feb. 2, at 2961 N Dale Mabry Hwy. Operating hours for the new outpost are Sunday-Thursday from 11 a.m.-11 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m.-midnight.
For those unfamiliar with Dave’s offerings, the star of the show is their hot chicken tenders, ranging from “no spice” to the fiery red “reaper” level. The menu also features fries, kale slaw, mac and cheese, and a variety of milkshakes.
Beyond Tampa, Dave’s Hot Chicken has just three other Florida locations, situated in Orlando, Lake Mary, and Altamonte Springs.
