St. Pete Rings in the New Year with a Grand Celebration and Free PSTA Rides

St. Petersburg is gearing up for its annual New Year’s Eve celebration at the St. Pete Pier (600 2nd Ave NE). This family-friendly event promises a lively way to ring in 2025, featuring an array of food, drinks, and entertainment that will make it a night to remember.

A Night Full of Activities

The festivities kick off at 8 p.m. and are completely free to the public. Guests can enjoy live DJs spinning the hottest tunes, indulge in a variety of food trucks, and sip on beverages from champagne bars. For added fun, there will be games to keep everyone entertained, all with a stunning waterfront view as the backdrop.

Convenient and Free Transportation

Since parking at the Pier will be limited, attendees are encouraged to plan ahead and arrive early. To ease travel woes, PSTA’s bus service, including the SunRunner, will be fare-free on New Year’s Eve. This includes the popular SunRunner route, which conveniently runs from St. Pete Beach to downtown. Additionally, other key bus routes—4, 18, 34, and 52—will operate until 1 a.m. to accommodate late-night travelers.

A Spectacular Fireworks Display

As the clock strikes midnight, the City of St. Petersburg will illuminate the night sky with its annual fireworks display. This breathtaking show will last approximately 20 minutes, offering prime viewing from the St. Pete Pier and along the downtown waterfront parks. Don’t miss this dazzling finale to an incredible evening.
