Closed Applebee’s in St. Pete Now Becomes Beef ‘O’ Brady’s

St. Petersburg Beef ‘O’ Brady’s opening is set to turn a long-vacant restaurant address into a fresh neighborhood gathering spot, as a new location officially opens Tuesday at 2901 66th St. N. in St. Petersburg. The new sports pub, owned by Amit and Jamie Khanna, takes over the former Applebee’s space and marks another chapter for one of Florida’s most recognizable family restaurants. The new St. Pete location is already listed on the brand’s official website, alongside its local social pages.

For St. Petersburg diners, the address has long been tied to the local restaurant scene, making this reopening especially notable. The building had sat empty after an Applebee’s abruptly shut down last summer, but now Beef ‘O’ Brady’s is stepping in with plans to bring new energy, new staff, and a renewed sense of community dining to the property. The transition gives the busy corner a second life while restoring activity to a site with deep local history.
