Satisfi Labs Acquires Tampa Marketing Automation Platform, Expands Services
Tampa-based Satisfi Labs, a leader in conversational artificial intelligence services, has acquired Factoreal, a dynamic marketing automation platform specializing in streamlining the marketing technology experience across sports and entertainment.
The acquisition advances Satisfi Labs’ vision of creating a robust platform integrating inbound and outbound messaging capabilities. Initiated through a series of spontaneous emails, the deal’s financial details remain undisclosed.
“Our Series A was led by Florida funders, and Factoreal approached them for investment. One team member emailed me suggesting we acquire this company, and after several meetings, everything fell into place,” shared Donny White, co-founder and CEO of Satisfi Labs, with Tampa Bay Inno.
Over the coming year, Bangalore-based Factoreal will be fully integrated into Satisfi Labs’ platform. Factoreal serves prominent brands such as the United Soccer League, Gwinnett Stripers, Chattanooga FC, Las Vegas Aviators, Mumbai City FC, Fanxp, and Warrington Wolves.
Last year, Satisfi Labs launched its Context Large Language Model Response System, combining a contextual response system with language models to enhance its search engine capabilities. This system focuses on answering user queries by analyzing content across multiple websites.
The integration of these platforms introduces a novel approach to managing customer-to-brand engagement through chat experiences, a concept Satisfi Labs terms “conversational journey management.”
“By combining with Factoreal, our AI becomes more compelling as an inbound and outbound system. This means not only alerting users about the best ticket prices but also personalizing their experience to track team events,” explained White.
According to White, the AI system considers user preferences. If the AI detects a user’s affinity for specific teams like the Tampa Bay Lightning or particular animals at the zoo, it will send customized messages inviting users to explore more about these interests.
Satisfi Labs serves over 400 clients, including the Tampa Bay Rays, Tampa Bay Lightning, Amalie Arena, and ZooTampa at Lowry Park, utilizing their LLM-powered platform.
While some remain hesitant about AI advancements, White attributes this reluctance to a perceived lack of control.
“The reluctance stems from the absence of practical applications. Presently, AI doesn’t seek permission. However, our system asks if you would like to receive information. For instance, would you like an email for a discount next time? You have the option to decline. We understand this fear factor and provide robust control mechanisms,” White assured Tampa Bay Inno.
