Celebrate love this Valentine’s Day at Tampa Theatre with a special vow renewal ceremony and classic film screening. On Friday, February 14, couples can renew their vows in a historic setting. Tampa Theatre President & CEO John Bell, an ordained minister, will officiate the event, blending humor and romance.
A Romantic Ceremony for Couples
The vow renewal will take place in the theater’s historic interior, featuring its starry ceiling and grand stage. Couples can share heartfelt moments inspired by romantic movie quotes. After the ceremony, a champagne toast will celebrate love and commitment.
For couples wanting to marry, Bell will also perform legal weddings. A valid marriage license is required for those wishing to say “I do” during this unique event.
Classic Film Screening Completes the Evening
Following the ceremony, guests can enjoy Our Hospitality, a 1923 silent comedy starring Buster Keaton. The story follows Willie McKay, who becomes involved in a family feud while falling in love. Steven Ball will enhance the experience with live music on the Mighty Wurlitzer Theatre Organ.
The screening begins at 7:30 p.m. and offers a memorable way to end the evening.
