Gasparilla Bead Recycling: Keep Tampa Bay Clean with Bead-Free Bay

As the Gasparilla Children’s Parade on January 18 and Pirate Fest the following Saturday approach, Tampa’s Department of Solid Waste is calling on all pirates to participate in bead recycling Tampa efforts. The Bead-Free Bay initiative offers a simple way for parade-goers to recycle unwanted beads at designated collection sites, reducing plastic waste and helping keep Tampa Bay clean.

From January 27 through May 2025, you can participate in bead recycling Tampa by dropping off unwanted beads at the following locations during their regular hours:
