As the community grapples with the storm’s aftermath, the City of Tampa has launched a thoughtful initiative to address one of the basic needs of those impacted: clean laundry.
The Wash Zone: A Beacon of Hope
On Tuesday, October 1, 2024, the City of Tampa will operate a “Wash Zone” at 5235 South Dale Mabry Highway from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. This free laundry service is specifically designed to assist residents whose homes have suffered flood damage, leaving them without the means to clean their clothes and linens.
