Tampa International Airport (TPA) is bracing for a significant holiday travel rush, with an estimated 1.5 million passengers expected between December 19 and January 6. According to a release, TPA anticipates approximately 80,000 passengers daily leading up to Christmas and New Year’s, with the busiest day projected to be Friday, December 27, when around 87,000 passengers are expected to pass through.
