Hop State Brewing is bringing a new flavor-focused experience to Tampa, combining craft beer with a customizable seltzer concept at its taproom on Benjamin Road. The Tampa brewery has opened in the former Six Ten Brewing space with a lineup built around creative ingredients, seasonal releases and a more experimental approach to what goes in the glass.
The brewery is led by Ed Fitzpatrick, Buddy Cernan and Ed Valenti, with Valenti serving as head brewer. Their approach places chef-inspired brewing, creative flavors and small-batch experimentation at the center of the concept, giving Tampa beer fans a mix that ranges from lighter pilsners and blonde ales to a hazy double IPA, imperial stout and barrel-aged lager.
