If you listen closely, you can already hear it—the soft clink of cocktail glasses, the whisper of Tampa Bay’s breeze, the buzz of something new and irresistible in the air. Maru rooftop bar, the latest venture by Indigo Road Hospitality Group, is set to open on May 2, promising to drench Tampa’s Bayshore Boulevard in a spell of Japanese-Peruvian fusion, high above the glittering streets below.
“Maru,” a name that already dances on the lips of those in the know, is perched atop Bayshore Gardens at 2909 W Bay to Bay Blvd. Announced with little more than a tantalizing whisper on Instagram, the bar’s opening feels almost like a secret too good to share—but far too good not to.
