It’s time to celebrate, baseball fans! The Tampa Bay Rays are back with a special treat for the community — the grand opening of their pop-up team store in downtown St. Petersburg. Located at 1101 First Ave. South, inside the old Dr. BBQ building, this exciting new space serves as a vibrant connection between fans and the team as they await the 2026 return to Tropicana Field.
The official grand opening takes place on Saturday, November 1, from 10 am – 4 pm, and it’s shaping up to be one of the most exciting fan events of the season. To mark the occasion, Rays pitcher Ryan Pepiot will be there signing autographs and meeting fans. Visitors can even enjoy free coffee or hot dogs during their Saturday stroll — a perfect combo of good vibes and baseball spirit.
