Downtown Tampa waterfront may soon showcase an exciting new attraction: a 250-foot observation wheel. Local developer Tony Miller has officially announced plans for Tampa WOW!—Tampa’s Wheel Over Water—an iconic addition designed to bring sweeping views of Tampa Bay to locals and visitors alike.
Standing tall at 250 feet, the new observation wheel will reshape Downtown Tampa’s skyline with a dazzling focal point. Strategically located just north of The Florida Aquarium, the project will occupy one-third of an acre along the bustling Channel District. Riders can look forward to a 20–30 minute journey in climate-controlled gondolas, offering panoramic views of the glittering waterfront and the city skyline.
