TPD: Pedestrian Injured After Running Into Car’s Path

In the heat-stained stillness of a Tampa afternoon, tragedy cracked the routine calm like thunder on clear skies. Kennedy Boulevard, a bustling artery of the city, was suddenly cordoned off by yellow police tape and flashing lights. The Tampa Police Department (TPD) confirmed that a man had been hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after he ran directly into the path of a moving vehicle near the intersection of Kennedy Boulevard and Lois Avenue.
