Tampa Riverfest 2026 is set to turn the Tampa Riverwalk into one of the biggest weekend destinations in downtown Tampa, giving locals and visitors two days of food, music, family activities and waterfront energy right in the heart of the city. The free annual festival returns Friday, May 1, and Saturday, May 2, with events stretching along the riverfront.
The celebration is hosted by Friends of the Tampa Riverwalk and presented by Publix Super Markets, with the main festival footprint running between Curtis Hixon Park, Water Works Park and nearby Riverwalk spaces. The City of Tampa lists the event as free and open to the public, with no pre-registration required for general admission.
