Taylor Swift Awarded Key to the City of Tampa by Mayor Jane Castor

That’s exactly what Tampa Mayor Jane Castor is offering to megastar Taylor Swift in honor of her “Eras Tour” shows. It’s not every day that a world-renowned celebrity gets to be mayor for the day, but with this offer, Swift could find herself in a position of power she never imagined. “We know Glendale changed its name, Arlington made a street sign, and Vegas illuminated their Gateway Arches,” Castor said in a video posted to the city’s Instagram. “But here in Tampa, we’ve got a reputation to uphold… and we want to go bigger.”
