The comic book art exhibit at the University of Tampa will be available until October 6th.

For enthusiasts of superheroes, the University of Tampa has something special in store. A captivating new exhibit at the Scarfone Hartley Gallery of Art, titled “Zooming Superheroes: From Dyes to DPI, The Visual and Technical Evolution of Comic Book Printing,” delves into the rich history of comic books and the evolution of color printing.

Visitors can trace the iconic characters from Marvel, DC, and Dark Horse comics, witnessing the evolution in inking and color techniques. Additionally, they have the opportunity to engage in a hands-on exploration of historic comics, from “The Death of Superman” to post-WWII-era “Weird Tales” publications.
