WalletHub Ranks Tampa Among Top Foodie Cities in the U.S.

Tampa’s culinary scene has received national recognition, ranking fifth among the best foodie cities in America according to WalletHub’s 2024 list. This accolade highlights the city’s diverse and vibrant food culture, which is exemplified by a wide array of local establishments.

WalletHub’s ranking, which compared over 180 U.S. cities using 28 key metrics, placed Tampa high in several categories. The city scored well in areas such as restaurants per capita, affordability, accessibility, coffee shops per capita, and gourmet specialty food stores. This recognition adds to Tampa’s growing culinary reputation, which was further bolstered by the MICHELIN Guide’s recent spotlight on the city, awarding stars to standout restaurants like Rooster & The Till.
