The Punch Room at The Tampa EDITION (500 Channelside Dr) has been recognized as one of the best bars in America by Esquire. The publication highlighted the bar’s elegant tribute to Tampa’s rich history of pirates and privateers, artfully combining a luxurious setting with Caribbean-inspired spirits.

Operating hours are Wednesday and Thursday from 5 pm to midnight, and Friday and Saturday from 5 pm to 1 am. For more information and to make reservations, visit EDITION’s website.

“Reflective of Tampa’s seventeenth-century history with pirates and privateers, this bar embraces the refined spirits of the Caribbean. However, in true EDITION style, it steers clear of kitschy tropical clichés. The room is an exquisite blend of azure and chartreuse—an invitation to relax and explore. The drinks are both delicate and innovative; they evoke tropical flavors but with an upscale twist. A must-try is Ziggy’s Punch, reminiscent of savoring jerk chicken on a beach,” Esquire’s review noted.

Beyond The Punch Room, The Tampa EDITION also boasts the prestigious MICHELIN Key Hotel designation and is home to the MICHELIN Star restaurant Lilac, solidifying its reputation as a top destination for luxury and culinary excellence.
