New Retro Bar Good Luck Chuck’s Coming to South Howard

South Tampa’s nightlife scene is getting a fresh jolt of nostalgia as Good Luck Chuck’s Tampa prepares to take over the former SoHo Saloon space on South Howard Avenue, bringing a retro-driven bar concept to one of the city’s busiest entertainment corridors. The new spot is planned for the former SoHo Saloon address at 410 S. Howard Ave. and is expected to open around early-to-mid May.

Instead of leaning into the old nightclub model, Good Luck Chuck’s is being built around throwback music and a more defined entertainment concept, with sounds from the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s expected to shape the atmosphere. That means South Howard visitors can expect a night out with more personality than a typical open-format bar.
