When June 2025 dawns over the Sunshine City, it won’t just be any other start to summer—it will mark the 20th anniversary of one of the largest and most radiant LGBTQ+ celebrations in Florida: St. Pete Pride. With bold parades, electric concerts, street festivals, and performances that push the boundaries of art and identity, the city transforms into a beacon of love, inclusivity, and courage.
From the very first day of the month, a pulsing, almost supernatural energy settles over St. Pete. It’s as if the streets themselves are whispering—Come join us. Celebrate. Be seen.

Speak with Pride: A Mic and a Mirror
📍 June 20, 4–6 p.m. | The Werk Gallery, 2210 1st Ave S
The flickering lights inside The Werk Gallery cast long shadows, as voices echo off the walls—truths, poems, protests, jokes. This is not just an open mic; this is testimony, truth, and transformation.
“Speak with Pride” invites all to stand under the spotlight and shed fear. Whether it’s spoken word, sharp-witted comedy, or personal stories, the mic is your confessional. All ages are welcome, but this is no censored stage. It’s raw, real, and radiant.
Suggested donation is $5, benefiting St. Pete Pride’s mission.

📍 June 22, 5–10 p.m. | My Bar Sports Bar, 410 49th St S | $15
For one night only, My Bar slips into something more daring—LuvHer Lounge. Imagine pink neon bouncing off leather jackets, sapphic cinema looping on the walls, and the rhythmic hum of a lesbian DJ guiding the night’s tempo.
This is more than a party—it’s a movement carved in glitter and bass. Expect VIP lounges, elevated entertainment, and a menu as fierce as the crowd. General admission is $15, but space is tight, and the magic? Limited edition.
Event info available on their official page.
Street Mural Repainting: Art That Lives

It starts with a paintbrush. And ends with a message that can be seen from the sky.
Led by Eric Vaughan, LGBTQ+ Liaison for the City of St. Petersburg, volunteers will revitalize the Progressive Pride Street Mural, re-inking the city’s promise to stand tall and colorful. Be part of the process, the legacy, the literal painting of pride.
Volunteer info is on the official event page.

📍 June 26–28, 8 p.m. | Studio@620, 620 1st Ave S | $20
When the sun sets, the spotlight finds the unfiltered, fabulous, and downright filthy. “Dirty John’s Dirty Disco” is no ordinary sketch show—it’s a whirlwind of characters, grooves, and guts.
With every punchline louder than the disco ball, Studio@620 becomes a temple of untamed comedy. Expect to gasp. Expect to laugh until it hurts. Expect to question everything you thought a disco fairy was.

Street Fair: The Grand Finale
📍 June 29, 12–5 p.m. | 2355 Central Avenue, Grand Central District
The Street Fair explodes across blocks of Central Avenue, drawing over 100,000 attendees into a rainbow swirl of art, performance, and connection.
Roaming entertainers, community partners, over 100 vendors, and live stages take over the Grand Central District. It’s the kind of day where magic seems to pour from the sidewalks, where every corner offers a new flavor, a new beat, a new friend.
This is where St. Pete Pride crescendos—loud, loving, and limitless.

The Pulse Never Stops
What makes St. Pete Pride more than just a celebration is the community behind it—the artists, the poets, the drag queens, the lovers, the families, the first-timers, the lifers.
If you’ve never been, you’ve never felt this kind of energy before. And if you have? Then you already know: June in St. Pete isn’t just about colourful parades or dazzling shows—it’s about coming home to your truest self.
And when the final note fades and the last float turns the corner, there’s only one question left…
