Owned by Shonnika Denise, a multi-time champion of Tampa’s Dessert Wars and a recent runner-up in the Dessert Wars National Championships, Synergy Sweets is already a favorite among locals. Denise has built a loyal fan base with her mouth-watering cheesecakes and artfully crafted cupcakes. The menu features popular items such as red velvet stuffed cookies, churro cupcakes, Reese’s cheesecake, and Key Lime pie—each one a testament to her passion for creativity and flavor.
A Culinary Journey to Sweet Success
As one of the most creative bakeries in Tampa Bay, Synergy Sweets is the culmination of Denise’s culinary journey. A culinary school graduate in 2015, Denise discovered her love for baking during family gatherings where food brought everyone together, creating lasting memories. “I wanted to take control of the creative process with each new pastry,” Denise shared. “More importantly, I wanted the freedom to experiment with flavors and textures on my own terms. That’s how Synergy Sweets came to life.”
