Tampa Bay Schools Closing Ahead of Hurricane Milton: Full List

Hurricane Milton is forecasted to become a major hurricane this week as it makes its way toward Florida’s Gulf Coast. In response, Tampa Bay counties have started storm preparations and evacuations, including closing schools to ensure the safety of students and staff. Below is a list of the school closures. All Hillsborough County schools will be closed from Monday, Oct. 7 through Wednesday, Oct. 9 as a precaution.
