Leading the pack locally is RNR Tire Express, which ranks No. 186 nationally. The franchise, founded by Larry Sutton in 2000, started as Rent-n-Roll and has since expanded to 193 locations in 30 states. With global sales reaching $331 million and a year-over-year sales growth of 19%, RNR Tire Express continues to be a driving force in the tire and lease-to-purchase market.
College Hunks Hauling Junk
At No. 210, College Hunks Hauling Junk follows closely behind. This innovative moving and junk removal service saw global sales of over $260 million and a year-over-year growth of 2.4%. Ranking No. 235, The Melting Pot has become a fondue favorite across the U.S. With global sales of $281 million and 93 locations, it remains a unique dining experience. Despite seeing a 3.7% decline in sales growth, The Melting Pot still holds a strong position in the restaurant industry.
Ford’s Garage
Ford’s Garage, known for its automotive-themed décor and delicious comfort food, ranks at No. 287. With global sales of nearly $140 million and 23.7% growth, this restaurant chain has expanded to 24 locations, becoming a hot spot for both car enthusiasts and foodies alike.
Office Pride Commercial Cleaning
Finally, Office Pride Commercial Cleaning rounds out the list at No. 347. This commercial cleaning franchise boasts global sales of $87 million and a 7.8% sales growth, proving that even in competitive industries, Tampa Bay businesses can thrive. With 151 units across the country, Office Pride’s steady growth is a testament to the strength of the brand.
Honorable Mention: The Brass Tap
Although The Brass Tap fell just short of the top 400, ranking No. 409, it still saw an impressive 4.7% growth with global sales reaching $58 million. This craft beer bar chain continues to build its following and is expected to rise in rankings in the coming years.

At the top of the national rankings, McDonald’s leads with a staggering $129.5 billion in global sales and more than 41,000 locations worldwide. It is followed by 7-Eleven, with $97.8 billion in sales, and KFC, which reported $33.8 billion. These global giants set the standard, but Tampa Bay’s franchises are certainly making their mark.
