The Tampa Florida Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is set to take a major step forward. The groundbreaking ceremony for this spiritual landmark has been officially scheduled for Saturday, August 23, 2025, marking a significant milestone for Latter-day Saints across Florida and the broader Southeast United States.
A Landmark Event in Riverview
Presiding over the groundbreaking services will be Elder Neil L. Andersen of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, underscoring the sacred importance of this moment. The ceremony will take place on a 12-acre site located at 9445 Camden Field Parkway in Riverview, Florida. This location was carefully selected to serve the growing community of more than 176,000 Latter-day Saints in the state.
