Thankfully, upon thorough investigation of surveillance footage, it was revealed that the incident was simply an unintended discharge of a firearm by a woman who was reaching for an item in her purse.
Authorities have confirmed that no injuries have been reported, ensuring the public that there is no ongoing danger. However, as a precautionary measure, the mall will remain closed for the remainder of the day.
