WWE Backlash Comes to Tampa on May 9 at Benchmark Intl Arena

WWE Backlash Tampa is officially headed to downtown Tampa on Saturday, May 9, giving wrestling fans across the Bay area another major live event to circle on the calendar. WWE lists the show for 5:30 p.m. at Benchmark International Arena, with ticket sales already tied to Ticketmaster and premium hospitality options also promoted for the event.

For Tampa Bay, this is more than just another touring stop. WWE has positioned Backlash as the first Premium Live Event after WrestleMania 42, which means the show is expected to carry the fallout from one of the company’s biggest weekends of the year and bring that momentum straight into downtown Tampa.
