Alessi Bakery, a Tampa institution, is entering one of the biggest chapters in its 100-plus-year history with a major move, a larger space, and a broader food market vision in West Tampa. The family-run bakery, founded in 1912, has relocated two blocks down to 3003 W. Cypress St., where its new home blends old-school tradition with expanded dining, drinks, and fresh concepts for a new generation of customers.

The new Alessi Bakery location is an 18,000-square-foot space, about 3,000 square feet larger than the previous storefront. According to the source article, the bakery invested $7 million into renovating the new building, giving the longtime Tampa favorite more room to grow while staying close to its original neighborhood roots.
