Chicken Salad Chick is bringing its beloved flavors to Plant City with a brand-new restaurant opening at 2304 James L Redman Parkway in the Walden Woods Shopping Center. Known for its made-from-scratch chicken salad varieties, the fast-casual favorite will host a grand opening on September 16, offering the first 100 guests in line free chicken salad for a year.

Family-Owned Growth Across Tampa Bay
The new restaurant is owned by longtime Tampa Bay franchisees Brad and Tammy Cochran, who already operate five other locations across the region: Brandon, East Fowler, Lutz, South Tampa, and Wesley Chapel. The Cochrans first discovered Chicken Salad Chick in 2007, turning their enthusiasm into a thriving family business that has become a staple in the community.

Chicken Salad Chick’s Big Grand Opening Plans
To kick off the celebration, the Plant City location will offer five days of giveaways, running from Tuesday, September 16, through Saturday, September 20:
- Tuesday, Sept. 16 – First 100 guests in line at 10:30 a.m. win free chicken salad for a year.
- Wednesday, Sept. 17 – First 100 guests who purchase a Chick Trio get a free Large Quick Chick on their next visit.
- Thursday, Sept. 18 – First 50 guests to purchase a Chick Trio receive a free Chicken Salad Chick tote bag.
- Friday, Sept. 19 – First 50 guests who buy two Large Quick Chicks get a free Large Chick Cooler. After that, anyone purchasing two Large Quick Chicks receives one free.
- Saturday, Sept. 20 – First 50 guests spending $25 or more will receive a free 40oz Chick Tumbler with a lid and straw.
With over a dozen chicken salad varieties made fresh daily, the restaurant also offers side salads, soups, sandwiches, and desserts. Guests can enjoy dine-in, outdoor seating, takeout, delivery, and catering options.

The new Plant City restaurant isn’t just about food—it’s about community. Ahead of the launch, the restaurant supported the United Food Bank & Services of Plant City, continuing the brand’s mission to give back. Chicken Salad Chick is also part of the CSC Foundation, which raises funds for CURE Childhood Cancer and food banks across the country.
