Metallica’s eagerly awaited M72 World Tour is gearing up to take over Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium on June 6 and June 8, 2025, promising fans an unforgettable concert experience. Each night will showcase a completely different lineup of opening acts. Limp Bizkit and Ice Nine Kills will kick off the first show, while Pantera and Suicidal Tendencies will electrify the stage on the second night.
Ticket Information
Tickets for this two-night spectacle go on sale Friday, September 27, at 10 AM. Fans can grab a 2-Day Ticket to ensure they don’t miss out on Metallica’s promise of no repeated songs across the performances. This means attendees will enjoy a fresh setlist each night, with the band tapping into their extensive catalog that spans over 40 years.
A Major Show on the 50-Yard Line
The M72 World Tour, now in its third year, will kick off with 21 North American shows in April, May, and June. It will feature the same innovative stadium production that has wowed over three million fans worldwide. The tour will once again utilize the iconic mid-field in-the-round stage setup, complete with the Snake Pit at its center, ensuring a full 360° view of the exhilarating performance.
Fan Engagement Activities
In addition to the concerts, Metallica has plans to host a variety of events for fans between the two shows, creating a full weekend of activities that celebrate the band’s legacy and community. This unique concert experience continues the band’s tradition of offering something special for their dedicated followers, making each stop on the tour a truly unforgettable event.
Supporting Charitable Causes Through Ticket Sales
As always, a portion of the proceeds from every ticket sold will be directed to local charities through the band’s foundation, All Within My Hands. Established in 2017 to give back to the communities that have supported Metallica, All Within My Hands has raised over $15 million, providing $8.2 million in grants to career and technical education programs, including the groundbreaking Metallica Scholars Initiative, which is now in its sixth year. The foundation has also contributed over $3.6 million to combat food insecurity and more than $3.5 million for disaster relief efforts.
