Tampa’s largest annual boat parade is back the Saturday before Christmas, bringing festive cheer and community spirit to the city! This beloved winter tradition transforms the river into a sparkling, scenic display as holiday-decorated boats cruise along. The magic of the season is complete with Santa himself aboard a “pontoon,” making Tampa’s boat parade a laid-back celebration you won’t want to miss.
The parade is fully visible along the Tampa Riverwalk, with prime viewing spots at Curtis Hixon Park (600 N Ashley Dr), the Tampa Convention Center (333 S Franklin St), and Sparkman Wharf (615 Channelside Dr). Bring friends, family, and holiday spirit to enjoy these lively gatherings along the waterfront!
The festivities kick off December 21 at 6:15 pm, so mark your calendar! Boat registration is now open, so don’t miss your chance to join the line-up in this magical procession. For those interested, the full parade map is available online.
Our Riverwalk is in the running for the Best Public Holiday Display in America in a USA Today competition, so be sure to vote and support this Tampa treasure.
