The team behind Tampa’s Rocca and Streetlight Taco is set to open Bar Terroir in February at 3636 Henderson Blvd. This French bistro and wine bar will feature classic dishes like beef bourguignon, steak frites, and cassoulet, complemented by a curated wine selection led by Rocca’s wine director. The intimate venue will seat 60 guests indoors and another 40 on the patio, creating a cozy yet sophisticated ambiance.
Cheeky’s: A Raw Bar in St. Petersburg
Cheeky’s, a seafood-focused restaurant, will bring a casual Florida fish house vibe to St. Pete’s Grand Central District. Guests can look forward to a menu featuring raw and grilled oysters, Gulf Coast fish, and vegetarian options. The drink menu will highlight frozen cocktails, including espresso martinis and margaritas, paired with a robust selection of natural wines. The restaurant aims to open in January at 2823 Central Ave.

Chef Suzanne Lara’s apothecary-themed bar and restaurant is set to open at 1919 E. 7th Ave. in Ybor City. Featuring housemade sodas, tonics, and a European-inspired menu, Lara will include a speakeasy upstairs and a market catering to hospitality professionals. The menu will focus on small plates and seafood, making it a neighborhood bar and destination spot.
Slim Charmer: A Stylish Cocktail Bar in St. Pete
Wild Child’s sister concept, Slim Charmer, will launch in February at 2706 Central Ave. With seating for just 26 guests, the intimate space will feature a martini-focused cocktail program and a rotating menu of seafood-heavy small plates. Expect raw crudos, oysters, and creative sandwiches in a contemporary New York-inspired setting.

Spitz: Bandit Coffee Company’s Next Big Project
Spitz, from the team behind Bandit Coffee Company, will combine low-intervention wines, cocktails, and an eclectic food menu. While a preview has been running as a pop-up at Bandit Coffee, renovations are ongoing at 2520 Central Ave. The opening is slated for spring, promising to expand the group’s popular café concept into dinner service.
