Video Footage: Authorities Seek Suspect in Knife-Wielding Robbery, Victim Throttled at Brandon Gas Station
A dangerous suspect assaulted someone at a gas station in Brandon, in the early hours of Thursday morning! The Hillsborough deputies are on the hunt.
As reported by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, an unidentified man entered a 7-Eleven situated at 810 East Brandon Boulevard at approximately 4:41 a.m.
Capture the shocking moment a man violently grabs a counter worker by her throat, making her open the cash register and stealing an undisclosed amount of money. Watch in disbelief as he brandishes a menacing box cutter-type knife.
Authorities report that he was last spotted fleeing towards the east on East Brandon Boulevard.
“To watch this criminal forcefully take what he wants and attack an employee trying to make an honest living goes against everything we stand for as residents of Hillsborough County and as your Sheriff’s Office,” Sheriff Chad Chronister said. “We will find this violent offender and make sure the victim of this crime sees justice.”
Still an ongoing investigation.
Help catch the suspect! If you have any information or spot him, please call the sheriff’s office at 813-247-8200.
