Tampa’s PhilFest 2025 is back, and it’s bigger than ever. As one of the most anticipated Filipino food festivals in the U.S., this three-day extravaganza will take place from April 4-6 at the Bayanihan Arts and Events Center (14301 Nine Eagles Dr). Now celebrating its 28th year, PhilFest continues to uphold The Philippine Cultural Foundation, Inc.’s mission of promoting Filipino heritage and community empowerment.
Tickets are available for $8 in advance at the Bayanihan Arts and Events Center or $10 at the gate.
A Feast for the Senses
Over three days, PhilFest offers a sensory overload of authentic Filipino dishes, vibrant performances, and cultural showcases. Attendees can explore a variety of Philippine merchandise, from handcrafted souvenirs to traditional attire, while enjoying a lineup of live performances featuring both local and international artists.
The festival’s main stage will host dazzling performances, including traditional folk dances and contemporary musical acts. Some of the most anticipated events include:
- “Tanghalang Pambata” – A high-energy talent competition showcasing the skills of young performers.
- “Tawag ng Tanghalan” – A thrilling singing competition for adults, where contestants battle for the top spot.
- “Revolution” – A hip-hop dance battle bringing together the best young dancers for an electrifying showdown.
- “Yugyugan” – A must-see street dance showcase, pulsating with rhythm and energy.
Pageantry, Parades, and More
PhilFest isn’t just about food and music—it’s a grand celebration of Filipino culture and heritage. One of the festival’s standout events is the Miss/Mrs. PhilFest pageant, where contestants representing Filipino-American organizations compete in a dazzling display of beauty, talent, and cultural pride.
Attendees will also be treated to colorful parades, including the Flores de PhilFest, a floral procession showcasing elaborate Filipino-inspired costumes, and the grand PhilFest Parade, where festive street performances bring Tampa’s streets to life.
