This September, Rock the Park Tampa celebrates a significant milestone—14 years of energizing the city with live music. On September 5, Curtis Hixon Park will once again come to life with the vibrant sounds of local talent, as the community gathers for this eagerly awaited event.

Rock the Park has firmly established itself as a cornerstone of Tampa’s cultural scene, taking place on the first Thursday of every month. Starting at 6:30 p.m., this free event is open to everyone. But it’s more than just a concert; it serves as a crucial platform for emerging artists, offering them the chance to showcase their talents in one of the city’s most iconic settings.

Set against the stunning backdrop of Curtis Hixon Park, located at 600 N Ashley Dr., attendees can enjoy breathtaking views of the Sykes Tower and the Tampa Riverwalk. The historic minarets across the river add an extra layer of ambiance, making the experience even more memorable.

This month’s event will feature a performance by the band HollowHouse, promising a night filled with exceptional music. And of course, what’s a concert without delicious food? Guests can indulge in mouthwatering offerings from Jam Dish and This Little Pig.

For the past 14 years, the Tampa Downtown Partnership and Brokenmold Entertainment have produced this monthly music series, showcasing a diverse range of musical genres. Rock the Park Tampa has evolved into a beloved tradition, drawing music lovers from near and far to celebrate the city’s vibrant arts scene. Keep up with the event on Facebook.
