Tampa Heights Is Getting a New Vinyl Bar This Fall

ampa Heights, Peppermint Lounge, and vinyl culture are about to come together in a new music-forward bar opening this fall on North Franklin Street. The upcoming lounge is led by Tampa hospitality and music figure Ty Rodriguez, known for his work with Rooster & the Till and the Gasparilla Music Festival scene.

The new vinyl bar, Peppermint Lounge, is planned for 1607 N. Franklin St. in Tampa Heights, with a fall 2026 opening expected. The space sits along Yellow Brick Row, near local landmarks including the Rialto Theatre, Hidden Springs Ale Works, and Cafe Hey.
