Built in just 55 days at a California shipyard, this ship served in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam, and today stands as a revered American icon. It is one of only three fully operational WWII Victory-class ships in the country. Visitors are welcome to explore the ship as a floating museum—open Monday from noon to 5 pm, and Tuesday through Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm.
