Tampa Pushes Back Deadline for Car Retrieval from City Garages After Storm

Tampa residents who left their cars parked in public garages during Hurricane Milton now have until Sunday to retrieve them, with parking fees eligible for reimbursement. This extension offers drivers additional time to safely remove their vehicles while taking advantage of waived parking fees.

According to the City of Tampa, drivers have until 5 p.m. on Sunday to remove their cars from public garages without incurring any fees. Those who were charged after scanning their parking ticket should email parking@tampa.gov to get the fees fully reimbursed.
