City of Tampa officials are addressing concerns regarding firefighter response times by introducing new additions to their fleet. The Tampa Fire Rescue Department is set to reveal eight new vehicles on Monday.
The TFR chief emphasized the necessity for additional resources to support Tampa’s growth. Among the new fleet acquisitions are three fire engines, three rescue cars, and two Ambu-buses.
Mayor Jane Castor highlighted, “With these new fleet additions, we’re ensuring Tampa remains at the forefront of safety and efficiency, prepared for rapid response. We’re providing our firefighters with the best tools to safeguard lives and property.”
