Sabrina Carpenter has taken the world by storm. Her hit, “Espresso”, seems to be everywhere right now, and the artist’s unique nonsense outros are always guaranteed to go viral. Carpenter recently joined Taylor Swift on the Eras Tour across the globe, but her upcoming headline show will take over Amalie Arena in downtown Tampa on October 25. Tickets go on sale June 28.
Variety reports that Carpenter made Hot 100 history with her new single “Please Please Please” debuting at No. 2, and her single “Espresso” rising to No. 3. She is the first solo act in the history of the Billboard chart to land two simultaneous top-three hits. Billboard notes, “Carpenter joins the Beatles in notching two concurrent top-three hits since the group was the first act to achieve the landmark in February of 1964 with “I Want To Hold Your Hand” and “She Loves You.” The performer’s reach is rather astonishing. Variety further reports that “Espresso” has collected almost 48 million radio impressions and 38.4 million streams with 28,000 digital and physical sales, according to data from Luminate.
This joins other huge shows that include Childish Gambino, Cyndi Lauper, Nicki Minaj, and Missy Elliott coming soon to the downtown concert venue.
