This premier event offers food and wine lovers a chance to immerse themselves in a world of culinary delights, fine wines, and craft spirits, while having the opportunity to meet talented chefs and winemakers from across the globe. In this blog, we’ll be exploring the highlights of the festival and what you can expect during this fabulous four-day extravaganza.
If you’ve never been to the Tampa Bay Wine and Food Festival before, you won’t want to miss out on this exciting experience, where you’ll be able to explore a variety of mouth-watering delights and tantalizing beverages. The festival has several key events that make it a must-attend affair:

Saturday, April 15th, the final day of Tampa Bay WFF will host a Grand Tasting Day featuring selected restaurant pop up cafe’s featuring sampling of your favorite dishes, live music, interactive sponsor experiences, international wine and spirits pavilions, and of course good times, along with so much more!
Taking over Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park, enjoy flavor-packed bites from Tampa Bay’s leading restaurants from across the area as we take you along a journey of the different culinary neighborhoods, enjoy an array of cocktail and wine pavilions that will celebrate some of your favorite varietals, along with interactive activations from leading national brands. Live Music and daytime fun will top off the experience. With hundreds of food and drink items to be savored, the Grand Tasting will be a great day at one of Tampa’s favorite parks on the riverfront as you indulge in the best of the best while listening to live music from local favorites and dancing the day away.
All ages are welcome at Saturday’s festival! Children under 10 enter for free on Saturday, April 15th!

An Evening Of Competitive Culinary Cook-Offs
14 CHEFS. 7 BATTLES. 1 EPIC NIGHT!
A fan favorite in Miami Beach, the Chef Showdown is making its way to the west coast as we celebrate Tampa Bay’s top chefs and gear up for an evening of competitive culinary cook-offs where attendees will serve as the judges as they indulge in endless dishes and refreshing cocktails and dance the night away at what Ocean Drive Magazine coined in South Beach as the “Ultimate Beach Bash Chef Competition”.
12 chefs will battle head-to-head in six unique showdowns. Each will host their own “battle pavilion” , where guests will visit each battle, sample, and vote on their favorite of the two. Throughout the night, chefs from each battle will take the main stage to put on a show in their live demos as representatives from the culinary industry, including media, will serve as final judges to award the best in each showdown. Tampa Bay’s CHEF SHOWDOWN will be hosted on the festival grounds, which will be at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park. Choose your champ, Friday, April 14, at Tampa Bay’s CHEF SHOWDOWN!

Escape into the modern oasis of Tampa’s beloved outdoor destination, Hyde Park Village, and snag a ticket to a one-of-a-kind evening, in which the festival has partnered with 5 restaurants for the evening. Select your favorite of these leading culinary destinations who have opened their doors to create a unique pairings dinner fit for a VIP. Each restaurant will partner with a festival partner brand to showcase a private 4-course dining experience that will enhance your taste buds for the ultimate dining experience. Get ready as the executive chef and a master of wines or cocktail ambassador will take you through a unique evening fit for the ultimate foodie.
Participating Locations Include:
MEAT MARKET TAMPA– A Tampa staple and one of the best steakhouses in Florida, the one and only Meat Market Tampa. Chef Sean Brasel will be curating a fine dining 4 course experience with only the highest quality cuts of steak and the freshest seafood that is going to be unlike any other dish you’ve had before in partnership with honorary chef host, Chef Fernando Desa of Goya Foods !
Only 10 seats are available to the public at $250 per person.
TIMPANO HYDE PARK- Timpano Hyde Park known for having a unique menu that includes fettucine done tableside with butter from Parma topped with fresh uni, as well as veal chops and a whole branzino! With a modern twist on a classical menu, Timpano has something for everyone and the wines will be endless.

FORBICI– Who doesn’t love a classic Italian dish?! @Forbici is hosting an incredible 4-course dinner for only 40 people that includes Italian wines and beverages that will make your Nonna want to join!

SUR LA TABLE– Looking to spruce up your cooking skills or need an idea for a fun date night? Sur La Table is hosting a 4-course cooking class for 20 people where you get to be the chef! A Master Mixologist is helping you create your perfect cocktail pairings with wines for our wine-o’s while you cook for a date night you won’t want to miss.
