Rays Revive Beloved Randy Land Seating Section for Friday Matchups

The array of themed games is expanding, incorporating new additions such as Harry Potter and ZooTampa, along with the return of favorites like pickleball events and Parrot Heads celebrations.

In St. Petersburg, the Rays are reintroducing the beloved Randy Land seating area for Friday games, albeit with an increased price. Adding to the roster of themed promotions are appreciation nights, cultural celebrations, and identity day/night events.

Initially introduced last season, Randy Land, situated in sections 141 or 143 behind leftfield, offers fans a unique experience. Attendees receive a ticket, an Arozarena-themed T-shirt, and, if Arozarena hits a home run in that game, a complimentary beverage. The price, now conveniently matching Arozarena’s jersey number, has been adjusted to $56 for most games. However, for specific matchups like May 3 against the Mets and May 10 against the Yankees, prices are set at $63 and $79, respectively.

The Rays have expanded their themed game lineup with additions like krewe night (June 29), ZooTampa night (Aug. 18), and Harry Potter night (Aug. 31). Additionally, they’re bringing back themed games for pickleball (April 12), healthcare appreciation (May 25), salute to veterans (May 26), Margaritaville (July 13), law enforcement appreciation (July 14), country day (Aug. 10), and first responders (Sept. 22). Tickets for themed events include promotional items.

College-themed games have been added, featuring Florida A&M and St. Petersburg College. The team continues to offer discounted tickets for Monday-Thursday games to college students with valid .edu email addresses.

The details of promotional giveaways are anticipated to be unveiled ahead of Saturday’s Fan Fest at Tropicana Field. Additionally, information on a Ballpark Pass-type offer is expected before opening day.
