BIRMINGHAM, England — Tom Brady, the former quarterback for the Bucs and Patriots, familiarized himself with the locals before his inaugural home game as a minority owner of English soccer team Birmingham City.
Brady visited The [ihc-hide-content ihc_mb_type=”show” ihc_mb_who=”3″ ihc_mb_template=”1″ ]Roost, a pub close to St. Andrew’s stadium, ahead of Birmingham’s game against Leeds in the Championship on Saturday.
A few hours earlier, Brady posted on X, formerly known as Twitter: “Any plans before kick off guys? See you at St. Andrew’s.”
He later visited the stadium, where he encountered playful mascots and graciously autographs jerseys.
Tom Brady, the legendary seven-time Super Bowl champion, has teamed up with the club’s holding company, Knighthead Capital Management. In an exciting move, he has been appointed as the chairman of a newly formed advisory board.
Birmingham said Brady will “apply his extensive leadership experience and expertise across several components of the club.” Get in the game with their sports science department! They’ll provide expert advice on health, nutrition, and recovery programs.
