The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are gearing up for an exhilarating 2024-25 season. While football is at the forefront, there’s a special place in our hearts for the retro jerseys. Last year, the Bucs celebrated their Creamsicle jerseys in style, sporting them in an October showdown against the Detroit Lions. For those unaware, August 14 is officially Creamsicle Day in Tampa. Great news for Bucs fans: these iconic jerseys are making a comeback this season.

The team announced on Tuesday that they will don their classic orange and white uniforms against the Atlanta Falcons on October 27, during Week Eight at Raymond James Stadium. This week will be dedicated to a full Creamsicle experience, celebrating nearly 50 years of football and the rich history of the Bay area.

The stadium will be transformed to honor the team’s original home, Tampa Stadium, affectionately known as ‘The Big Sombrero.’ This transformation includes retro field stencils, stadium bunting, and video board assets. Fans are encouraged to embrace the ’70s spirit by wearing throwback attire to the game. The first 25,000 fans entering the stadium will receive Bucco Bruce baseball caps, courtesy of Fifth Third Bank, the game’s sponsor.

The Bucs’ official home schedule includes:

  • Preseason August 23: Miami Dolphins
  • September 8: Washington Commanders
  • September 22: Denver Broncos
  • September 29: Philadelphia Eagles
  • October 21: Baltimore Ravens
  • October 27: Atlanta Falcons
  • November 10: San Francisco 49ers
  • December 6: Oakland Raiders
  • December 29: Carolina Panthers
  • Date TBA: New Orleans Saints
