Florida Target locations are set to introduce a fresh drive-up feature, bringing Starbucks right to your car

Target outlets in Florida and nationwide are gearing up to introduce an innovative drive-up service, delivering Starbucks treats directly to customers’ vehicles. Commencing in early October, Target is launching “Drive Up with Starbucks” at more than 1,700 stores equipped with both Starbucks Cafés and Drive Up services. This new offering allows Target patrons to conveniently enjoy their preferred Starbucks beverages and snacks through curbside order pickup. Here’s a breakdown of how it operates:

1. After placing a Drive Up order and receiving a notification indicating that their order is ready, customers will use the Target app to signal their en route status to pick up their order.
2. Subsequently, customers will be prompted to place a Starbucks order, where they can add items designated for Drive Up and complete payment. Once the check-in process is finalized, a Starbucks barista will commence preparing the order.
3. Upon arrival at the store, when the customer taps “I’m here” within the Target app, a Target team member will promptly deliver both their Drive Up purchases and Starbucks order directly to their vehicle.
