Curtis Hixon Park, located at 600 N Ashley Dr, is renowned as one of Florida’s most stunning parks. This vast waterfront green space consistently comes alive with major city events like Riverfest, Rock the Park, and Winter Village. Likewise, the expansive Julian B Lane Riverfront Park has played host to some of the city’s grandest celebrations. Now, let’s explore two significant food and music festivals taking place at these picturesque waterfront parks:

Festival attendees are enthusiastically encouraged to take part in a wide array of specially crafted Outrageous Bavarian Games, offering delightful challenges and opportunities to win fantastic prizes, along with the ultimate honor of boasting about their victories. Participation in the Oktoberfest Games is free of charge, and Saturday afternoon will be brimming with some of our most exciting competitions. Among them, the Beard and Mustache competition stands as one of the region’s grandest. Tampa Pig Jig

Every autumn, the Tampa Pig Jig delivers exceptional live music, delectable cuisine, frosty beverages, and an intense corporate barbecue showdown right to the waterfront of downtown Tampa. Yet, it transcends mere merrymaking; the Tampa Pig Jig is a philanthropic gathering with a noble cause – raising funds for NephCure. This nonprofit organization is devoted to advancing research, enhancing treatment methods, and ultimately uncovering a cure for the debilitating kidney diseases, Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis (FSGS), and Nephrotic Syndrome.
The event’s main attraction this year is none other than the renowned country star, Brad Paisley, taking center stage to grace attendees with his musical prowess.
